The speed camera on Route 1 has been effective and quite productive. That’s a good thing.
I would suggest a couple of tweaks.
1. For times when construction activities are active, and when speeds exceed 65, keep the current rules.
2. When there isn’t activity, for speeds between 60-65, send warning notices, either just for Delaware residents or for everyone. This should happen either now or during/after next summer when everyone has gotten the message to slow down.
I think this would be effective and a bit friendlier for everyone.
